No one can really "know" the nature of God unless they have experienced
enlightenment at the level of the great spiritual avatars (Jesus Christ,
Mohammed, Moses, Buddha, Krishna, etc).  But here are some statements
that all major world religions point to:

  • God is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent.
  • God is both Immanent and Transcendent
  • God is manifest in everything that exists and simultaneously un-manifest
as infinite potentiality prior to form.
  • God is infinite and not bound by our conceptions of time and space.
  • God is the source of all life and consciousness.
  • God's presence instills love, peace, and beauty.
  • God is the source of evolution and creation (which just happen to be the
    same thing).
  • God is the context within which all of existence is the content.
  • The existence of God cannot be proven by the intellect.
  • The various descriptions of Divinity over human history reflect the
misunderstandings of human perception and especially the human ego.
  • Since God is Love, God's essence does not include the human
character defects which mankind has mistakenly attributed to Him in
prior centuries including:  limitation, jealousy, judgmentalism, wrath,
righteous anger, vulnerability, retaliation, vanity, favoritism, or a desire
    to control.
  • When the obstacles of the ego are transcended, the Self as God
Immanent shines forth just as the sun shines when the clouds are
    removed.
  • God is the context of the karmic unity of all Creation.

My webmaster believes in God and in fact has been praying that everyone
who views this website will experience the highest good.  My webmaster
created me to fulfill the following purpose: to help usher in a day when
virtually every person in the world will consistently make decisions within the
context of unconditional love.  The practice of unconditional love is consistent
with every major world religion.  I encourage you to attend your local place
of worship and explore your feelings about God there.  If that is not
appealing to you at this time, then I encourage you to consider devoting
yourself to a lifetime practice of unconditional love.

But as always, the choice about where you go from here is up to you.
